Student Life

Our student council.

Student Council leads service, builds community, and represents the student body at Highland Prep.

Student Council

What student council stands for.

Student Council is the student body's voice at Highland Prep. Members plan events, lead service, and bring student ideas to staff, building a school where every Honey Badger feels part of something.

Students lead the change

Real change on campus starts with students. Council turns ideas into events, drives, and better school days.

Lead by example

Members set the tone. They show up, follow through, and treat everyone with respect.

Every student has a voice

We bring student ideas and concerns to staff so decisions reflect the whole school.

Grow as a leader

Members learn to run meetings, plan events, and speak up, skills that last well past graduation.

Everyone is welcome

You do not need a title to take part. Council is stronger when every kind of student joins in.

National Member

National Association of Student Councils

Highland Prep Student Council is a member of the National Association of Student Councils. Membership connects our students to national leadership training, resources, and conferences where they network with student leaders from across the country.

Join

Three ways to join.

There is more than one path onto the council. Every grade is represented.

Class elections

Each grade elects representatives to speak for their class, so every grade has a seat at the table.

School-wide elections

The whole student body votes for the executive officers who lead the council for the year.

Faculty appointments

A faculty council appoints a few at-large members, opening the door to leaders who did not run in an election.
