Highland Prep is proud to announce that senior Aeden Calini is currently leading the state in interceptions and is 2nd in the entire nation. Calini's impressive performance on the field for the past two years has earned him the top spot in the state's interception rankings.
Calini's achievement is a testament to his skill, speed, and agility on the field. His ability to read the game and makes crucial plays had been a key factor in the team's success this season as the team currently holds an undefeated record. But Calini's success doesn't stop there. He has received four college football offers and plans to continue doing well to catch the attention of more college scouts.
He dedicates over 20 hours a week to football, honing his skills and perfecting his craft. "It's not just about the games on Friday nights," Calini said. "It's about the hard work and dedication I put in every day to be the best player I can be. The early mornings and late nights haven't been easy, but I know it will all pay off in the end. I'm willing to put in the work to achieve my goal of playing college football."
When asked about his biggest motivation, Calini didn't hesitate. "It would definitely be my mom. My mom is my biggest supporter," he said. "She's always been there for me, pushing me to be my best. And Coach Shaw- he's always motivating me, pushing me to take my game to the next level."
